If some of your old mods require them, you may use the USLEEP swap masters.

  • Make sure you're using the latest USLEEP instead of the obsolete unofficial patches.
  • depending on what's happening in game, choose the subsections that describes the best your problem.
  • Make sure you're using the good mods > Dangerous mods list.
  • Use the /// Save game section, if necessary try both mods.
  • Install crash fixes with the UseOSAllocators=1 enabled, see /// Settings / memory section.
  • In my latest save I was just in Morthal doing the vampire quest but I don't know if it has to do with the CTD (I wouldn't know why though because the older save have the log without any vampire stuff)Įdited by Elyphaen, 18 August 2016 - 10:21 PM. The last scripts it tried to load were 'dlc1vampireturnscript' and 'MakeAliasesEyesRed'. Oh and my latest saves all show the "content is missing" notification (or whatever it says exactly I mean the one by Bethesda) but there is one older one which doesn't show that note but even the older one crashes rigth after loading.Įdit: Some people online also suggested using the Papyrus log which might help finding the error but I don't have any clue how to read that.

But if anyone still has even the slightest idea of what might fix it please help :-) !!! I guess that means my saves are unusable now which kinda sucks.

So it seems my current save file is the cause, Is there a way to 'cleanse' my current save file completely?ĭoing the 3 save (interior) trick as per this link isn't solving the problem.Alright so I tried cleaning my master files (all 3 DLCs + my update.esm) but it's still not working although LOOT doesn't give me the warnings any more so it says they're all clean.Īlso I tried using Wrye Smash to check which Masters were active in my save and installed/activated all mods that were included in my saves (also the same load order). Today i tried the mod on a very old save file, one of the first i had when you first get to Riverwood and the glitch is gone. I was told that my save file could be the cause. I've gone through all the things like clean saving, load orders, conflicting mods, reinstalling skyrim etc.but it still persists. I may have been a bit reckless with them early on and I might be paying for it now.Īn issue i am having is there's a particular mod i wish to use but no matter how i install it, it causes my game to glitch, and no one else seems to be having the same problem i am. I'm new to the whole modding scene but in the last few weeks have learnt plenty about how to install them properly and cleanly. Is there a way to make a completely fresh Save File, at my current point in the game(lvl51), that would be free of any kinda corruption that may have been accumulated by installing/removing mods?
